IPQReader is very simple and easy to use tool that reads network traffic using netfilter QUEUE. The main goal is to recognize as many IP-based protocols as possible and print every information in human readable format or XML for further processing.<br /><br />The main advantage of IPQReader is simplicity. There are no internal filters, no scripting languages, no 4-screens-long option lists. You won't need them, you wouldn't want to learn them. The only things you may specify are output format you want (text/XML) and what protocol layers you are interested in. Everything else is controlled by powerful and flexible iptables tool.<br /><br />So far, IPQReader knows IPv4, TCP (both without options) and UDP protocols and all well-defined ICMP messages (but can't bring out all the information yet).
