OpenSTV is open-source software for counting votes using the single transferable vote and other ranked-choice voting methods such as instant runoff voting and Condorcet voting.<br /><br />Since 2003, OpenSTV has provided professional quality software that counts ranked-choice voting exactly as used by governments, including Scotland, San Francisco, and Cambridge, Massachusetts.
