This program can deSpin the images taken by the YACE CCD on AO-40. The algorithm was provided by Paul Willmott , Stacey Mills helped verify the output image. The AO-40 telemetry archive (at www.amsat.org) includes images from YACE on AO-40. You can usally tell when YACE images are present in a archive telemetry file by its size, which is almost always over 300k. When you uncompress the TLM archive, there will be a Zipped file named "orbit number.jpegs.zip", uncompress that folder to get to the actual YACE images. Included in the images folder will be a "orbitNumber.txt" file. In this file you can find out amongst other things, what the spin-rate of AO-40 was when the images were taken. Start YACE DeSpin and enter the spin-rate in the "spin" text box, remember to hit return. Next, go to the open menu and select "open", open a YACE image and you should get something like the image below.
