First of all, this is my first real application, in fact, this is an AppleScript Studio application, but that???*a*?s almost a "real application".<br /><br />TSM is a tool to manage (essentially daemons, but almost everything) services that can be defined by a start, stop, and check command. For exemple, il you installed OpenLDAP on your MacOS X, you probably noticed that there is no graphical tool to handle start/stop of the daemons. Now with TSM you can start or stop your OpenLDAP, and check if it is running.
