Enjoy playing checkers on a nice wooden board! Play with your friends over the network or with computer AI at different levels of complexity! Now for free!<br /><br />Checkers is a game played on an eight by eight squared board with twelve black and twelve white draughts on each side of the board. These pieces may only initially move and capture diagonally forwards. Only when a piece is "crowned" or "kinged" may it move both backwards or forwards.<br />The game is played by two people, on opposite sides of a playing board, alternating moves.
