TBCacao (http://www.github.org/qvacua/tbcacao) is a small open-source framework trying to mimic the most basic feature of the Spring framework for Java. Spring has vast list of features and I do not even imagine to implement all of them. It???*a*?s kind of Spring atto for Objective-C or rather Cocoa, if you like. :)<br /><br />Recently, I started a small private Cocoa project which extensively use CoreData and I quickly realized that there will be a bunch of singleton classes operating on CoreData entities, e.g. DAOs. Some classes use other classes and I did not always want to take care of dependencies between those singletons. I therefore have written a small singleton management class which reads a plist file defining all the dependencies between those singleton classes and creating those classes automatically realizing the dependencies. Sounds familiar? Yes, it???*a*?s the most basic feature of Spring, the autowiring. Unfortunately, Objective-C does not support annotations like Java, so I had to put all configurations in a plist file. Well, c???*a*?est la vie. Spring calls the classes managed by it Spring beans. I decided to call the classes managed by my framework Cacaos and the framework itself TheobromaCacao or TBCacao in short following the usual Cocoa convention.
