CCarbonEditText is a PowerPlant Unicode-savvy edit field class, intended to replace LEditText for most uses. It is implemented using the EditUnicodeText control when running under Mac OS X, and using the inline-input variant of the EditText control when running under Mac OS 9 with CarbonLib. CCarbonEditText is open source under the zlib/libpng license.<br /><br />Features include:<br /> * Broadcasts a message on a text change by any means<br /> * Key filters<br /> * Limit on maximum number of characters<br /> * PowerPlant-compatible undo actions<br /> * Inline input <br /><br />Limitations:<br /> * Does not support use as a password field<br /> * Text color and justification cannot be set
