Newspeak is reflective and highly dynamic, but designed to support security and modularity. Newspeak provides support for both functional and object-oriented programming.<br /><br />Like Self, Newspeak is message-based; all names are dynamically bound. However, like Smalltalk, Newspeak uses classes rather than prototypes.
