It can use all sound devices that are available.<br /><br />This means, if you add a soundcard / box, your internal audio in-out is still available!<br /><br />Thus, the external device handles your mics (and provides phantom power if needed), the internal sound ports can be used for the TC.<br /><br />In my case I use TC over a BlueTooth dongle.<br />The receiver is a very simple Belkin H14,<br />it receives the TC signal and feeds it to the camera's sound input.<br /><br />This is a software based BWF / QT sound recorder.<br />Intended as a low cost dual system sound application.<br />It has Timecode in and Out.<br /><br />It should work with almost all hardware available.<br />To see if your specific hardware is supported,<br />just download the demo and test yourself.
