UniPlayer is a versatile, unobstrusive multimedia player with many ways to handle images, music and video. In addition, this application is internet enabled, as any other browser. It is a launcher and a notepad, so you can browse and open local files, write and store annotations. It is also a pdf eBook reader.<br /><br />These are the main features:<br /><br />Music - UniPlayer handles Audio CDs, sound files supported by the operating system, and also can sync with Apple's iTunes application and their playlists, controll it with shortcuts, display the artwork.<br /><br />Images in Sequence - Slides can be presented in the little window or in the entire screen.<br /><br />Movies - Watching videos in full screen and back is quickly and synchronized.<br /><br />Internet - Navigate, search, check and send e-mail, perform downloads, all standard features of a web browser are available, also in full screen mode.<br /><br />Hard Disks - From UniPlayer we can launch applications, browse and open local files, pdf, html, disk images, compressed archives, etc.<br /><br />Notepad - With this item - splited in Note-taking, Contacts and Maps - we can now paste, edit, store and recall every kind of information. It accepts text, pictures, URL links, all in TextEdit format (.rtfd).<br /><br />Books - An ease to organize and comfortable way to read pdf documents.<br /><br />Customization - The Settings window allows us to choose the Videos directory, Home Page and set the object's wallpaper. The front-end is also customizable.<br /><br />Shortcuts - A compact menu with all available commands can be used instead of the corresponding shortcuts. The keyboard is, however, the best way to use the application. For example, the views of 4 items - Slides, Movies, Books and Web - can be controlled with the same shortcut: (Cmd + X).<br /><br />Simultaneous tasks - Listen to music while browsing the web or reading an eBook: use the keyboard shortcuts to control the volume, play, pause, jump to the next or previous song, and so on.
