Tune Tutor 1.0

Tune Tutor is a free software designed to help you learn to play melodies by ear. Tune Tutor breaks a tune down into multiple parts, breaks each part into multiple phrases, and breaks the phrases down into even smaller pieces. That lets you can work on one segment at a time, at a speed you can manage.<br /><br />The "Call and Response" method is used for phrases. With that method, Tune Tutor plays the phrase (the "call") and then gives you time to repeat it (the "response").<br /><br />Tune Tutor then repeats that phrase until you are ready to move on! In the process, you learn to play by ear, easily and naturally.<br /><br />For larger sections (whole tunes and major parts), Tune Tutor plays continuously, so you can jump in and keep playing along until you feel comfortable that you've "got it".<br /><br />Tune Tutor also lets you see the fingering to use for your favorite melody instrument, so you can get started right away, even if you are just beginning with your instrument, or just beginning to play by ear.
