For a customer, i needed to validate the username against a german phone number, so i wrote this little module that allows to define a validation pattern for the username on registration. it's also possible to customize the error message on validation failure.Some notes * If you are experiencing problems in testing the pattern, please clear your site cache. * There is a new permission which allows particular groups to change the validation pattern * The configuration moved to the user-section instead of the page settings * If you do not need to validate using regular expressions, you should use Drupal's internal "Access Rules"-feature (admin/user/rules)
