Node Import Update 6.x-0.2

This module is intended to simply add update functionality to the excellent Node Import module. The maintainer of Node Import has expressed a desire for that module to remain focused on importing nodes. So this module's intent is to focus discussion and efforts on extending Node Import to support updating nodes as well.While this module is still very much a work in progress, recent code contributions have dramatically improved it. At this point, it should work by default with product nodes using the title as a unique field. It supports both CCK and non-CCK fields as unique identifiers, and this is configurable from within node_import_update.module, as described in #813978: Implement settings page.The discussion that led to the creation of this project, along with the original code for this module, was posted in #422282: Update existing nodes on import.I am actively seeking co-maintainers for this module. Since I only have only minimal need for this functionality, and there appears to be fairly significant demand, I won't likely be able to give it the time and attention it deserves.
