File Force Download 7.x-1.0

File Force can be used to force the user's web browser to download the file to disk instead of displaying it in the browser window.Web browsers today are pre-configured to render various types of media directly, such as text files, various image, video and audio formats, PDF documents, and Flash movies. While it is still possible to save such files afterwards by right-clicking on them and selecting "Save As..", it is sometimes desirable to just offer the file for download in the first place. The 2.x branch changes the way a file path needs to be built in order to force file download. These are now generated by appending a ?download=1 query to the actual file URL, so your links should look something like this: system/files/song.mp3?download=1. Note that manually adding ?download=1 will only work for private download links, going through system/files or another menu link. This is a final change!
