druTalk is a gtalk-like IM (Instant Messaging) module. It works together with the User Relationships module and the Services module. With druTalk, drupal users can chat with their own friends of the same site. druTalk can be used in the following cases: * Social Networking * Customer Support * CollaborationdruTalk is a Flex application. It leverages the adobe stratus technology which enables peer to peer communications between flash players. So, the use of druTalk will not increase the server load. However, as many other p2p applications, druTalk (adobe stratus exactly) doesn't work in proxy environments.Demonstration:1. Go to drutalk.com2. Register two users3. Add each other as a friend4. Login both users with different browsers (eg. IE and FireFox)5. Launch druTalk and talk.Dependencies:ServicesAMFPHPUser RelationshipsFlash Player 10Installation:1. Download druTalk and enable it as most other drupal modules.2. Configure the services module and make sure it works ( please reference services module's doc).3. Configure the User Relationships module, create relationships and add yourself some 'friends'.3. Go to admin/build/block to enable the druTalk bock.
