Mooha is free open-source SyncML server written in PHP.It means that you can run in along with your website on simple hosting with PHP and MySQL only!You can synchronize your data from the website with your mobile device, and many other mobile devices and desktop applications and sync data between them all - as you wish.SyncML feature enabled almost on any contemporary modile device, so you should not have something special to synchronize - just set up a few fields and go sync!Also you can use Mooha within your Drupal-powered website - there is a Drupal 6.x module available!FeaturesSyncML versions:- 1.0 - 1.2Authentication:- basic- md5-digest- IMEISyncronisation types:- two-way sync- slow sync- one-way from client- one-way from serverDatabases:- bookmarks- calendar- contacts- notes- tasksDB Alias:- new feature to allow using several names for one database (to configure device with ease)Large Objects Transfer Support- chunking large items- splitting long item sequencesTransport:- WBXML (via system encoder/decorer: wbxml2xml)- WBXML (via PHP-based encoder/decorer)- XML (native)Also:- completely object-oriented - easy to port into your app- own separate session handling mechanism using a databaseTODO- Refresh syncronisation from client and from server- Database-layer authentication- Storage for device information- Write own PHP-based WBXML encoder/decoderInstall1. Download Standalone server archive of correspondent version from here: http://code.google.com/p/mooha/downloads/list2. Copy TWO FOLDERS: "inc" AND "XML" from Standalone server's archive to the "mooha" directory in your Drupal module folder. Note that if you plan to use system WBXML encoder/decoder, you don't need to copy the "XML" folder3. Install module from Drupal admin panel. MySQL tables populates during installtion4. Edit config.php to set some parameters:- WBXML_USE_EXTERNAL - set to TRUE if you want to use system WBXML encoder/decoder5. Make file "error.log" writable by webserver to have ability to log Mooha's errors6. Make file "mooha.log" writable by webserver to have ability to log Mooha's connections
