oBiblioOPAC for Joomla! intends to allow OPAC at Joomla! It is a Library management system and as same as Joomla you could catch it on the InterNet for free. The oBiblioOPAC4J main goal is bring you the online library catalog - managed by OpenBiblio - on your own website general content in an easy way - managed by Joomla!Motivation:After searching on the InterNet anyone application for Library management support and also has had some basics requisits (resources and funcionality) we founded OpenBiblio. We truly had done tests another applications, but this one had fulfiled our requirements.Moreover, the Library website also needed dynamic and diversified content, thence we have chosen the Joomla! that has a lot of resources and the OpenBiblio unmach those features.Although OpenBiblio has it own OPAC (Online Public ACcess) feature we needed another one that was possible to be integrated with the content manager. In other hand Joomla! hasn't had an application would met our demand. Therefore, we disided to built our own to link Joomla! and OpenBiblio.
