Mifter incorporates AJAX thinking into message board software, making a real-time message board unlike all others.Features of Mifter:- Tabbed forums for quick and easy navigation- Real-time notification when any of your watched threads gets a new post- Attach an image to a post, large images become thumbnailed- Private threads- Private messaging between users- Moderation (delete post, ban user, close thread, etc)- extensive customization options- may allow anonymous posting- captchas: may set captchas at new account creation, anonymous posting, new user posting- user list: may be filtered by online status, banned users, moderator list- protection from flood postings- block list: user may block specified users from posting in their threads- user profiles- "remember me" functionality: no need to enter user name and password at every visit- multiple themes that change colors/layout of site- supports unicode character set
