A new hybrid population-basedalgorithm (PSOGSA) is proposed with the combination ofParticle Swarm Optimization (PSO) and Gravitational SearchAlgorithm (GSA). The main idea is to integrate the ability ofexploitation in PSO with the ability of exploration in GSA tosynthesize both algorithmsd-deOao strength.
