Place your tile on some (strategic) position. Each side ofcourse has to match those of the surrounding tiles. 2. Next, you may place what I have called a 'puppet' somewhere on your tile. This can be, depending on the type of tile, on one of the following: a) A road. When a road is closed by a city-gate, a junction or by itself (closed loop), 1 point is awarded for each road-tile. The puppets occupiing the road will return to their owners' inventories. b) A city. When a city is completed, 2 points are awarded for every city-tile and 2 for each shield. The puppets occupying the road will return to their owners' inventories. c) A field. These puppets will remain there until the end of the game. At the end of the game, 4 points are rewarded for each completed city adjecent to the field. d) A monastery. When a monestary is completed, the puppet is returned to its owner's inventory, and 9 points are awarded. For each of these options, the same rule holds: if a road/city/field is already occupied (by yourself or somebody else), it is not permitted to place your puppet in here. However, it is possible for two separate parts, each having an occupant, to become connected at a later stage. In that case, the points are rewarded to the player with the most puppets inside. In the case of a tie, both players are rewarded. 3. At the end of the game, the remaining points are counted. Each (incomplete) city-tile is now worth 1 point, as well as each shield. Each road-piece still counts for 1 point, and the monasteries are rewarded a total sum equal to the number of adjecent tiles, including the monastery itself . The game is controlled as follows: 1. When placing a tile: left-click to place it and right-click to rotate.2. When placing a puppet: left-click to place it and right-click to cancel placement.3. When the board-size is increasing and the view zooms out, you can zoom back in and out using your scroll wheel.4. When zoomed in, the mouse and arrow-keys can be used to navigate the board.5.
