CDMA2000 Downlink Simulink Models 1.1

This model simulates a CDMA2000 1xRTT Forward link (between Base Station and Mobile Station).In particular, it simulates the Radio Configuration 3 of a Forward Fundamental channel.The block CDMA2k: Initial settings allows you to set different parameters such as data rate, Power ControlSubChannel insertion rate, spreading code index, QOSF index and the channel model.This application example includes the following blocks:- Frame Quality Indicator insertion and extraction- Adding and deleting Tail Bits before and after coding- Convolutional encoding and decoding- Repetition and derepetition- Puncturing and Zero padding- Interleaving- Long Code scrambling- Power Control insertion- Signal Point mapping- Modulation- Spreading by Walsh code and a QOF mask- Walsh Code rotation- Quadrature scrambling by a PN Sequence- Tx and Rx filtering by an oversampled RRC- Different channel models such as AWGN or Multipath Rayleigh Fading- Rake receiver Channel estimationHighlights:- Extensive use of the Communications Blockset library to implement wireless systems- Use of sub-system to represent the architecture of the design- Use of a library to reuse and share custom built blocks- Use of S-Function builder to insert customized C code to implement an extended PN Sequence- Use of general mask to control the different parameters of the simulation- Extensive use of scopes to visualize the data at different points of the model
