SQLshout is a Shoutcast compatible streaming source client which uses a SQL database as its source for playlist generation. Using a SQL database allows for interaction with web applications like PHP Nuke. By using a SQL database as the playlist source, the web based application can insert requests into the queue, and the votes placed into the database can influence song selection by the streamer.
