Regal Saber, formerly known as the FAST Adventure System, is a program for creating online adventure games using the PHP scripting language and a MySQL database backend. It allows for users to not only play the game, but also (assuming they have an authorized password) create and edit individual rooms. The complete source code to Regal Saber is available under the terms of the GNU General Public License (GPL). Quick list of features (among others): Small, clean, valid XHTML 1.1 and CSS output; all rooms entirely user-editable; in-editor image uploads; can handle thousands of rooms in a single database; save/restore game support via cookies; clean, readable room URL's; advanced rooms with raw PHP code; etc., etc. etc.
