Entities by default propagate membership up. Entities have roles, which can be filled by members of the entity, and fields which can support various meta-data about the entity. Entities are categorized into different types of entities ("groups", "committees", "organizations", "sites", etc). The OI entities can be used for node access restrictions. This module also provides a text filter that can be used to display entity membership.InstallationUnpack in your modules folder (usually /sites/all/modules/) and enable under Administer > Site Building > Modules.
