A Better Finder Creators & Types is a file utility, which allows you to quickly and easily change file-to-application associations by setting the creator & type attributes of a single or multiple files.

The Macintosh Finder uses these properties to associate documents to their applications. Many documents such as gif or jpeg files can be opened in many different applications and A Better Finder Creators & Types allows you to decide which documents belong to which application. At long last, you can automatically open your files in your preferred application!

What's new in this version:

Version 3.2.6 updates the hot key and preference pane components to provide an improved user experience:

* system preference pane now displays all hot keys in a single table
* user-defined hot key combinations run through a 'sanity check' to avoid problems with other applications
* hot key component no longer installed by default
* clean hot key installation and uninstallation from the system preference pane
