Millionen Menschen haben »Winzigweich Fenster« (Microsoft Windows) auf ihrem PC installiert - aber wie viele von ihnen haben jemals ein einziges Fenster (Window) auf dem Bildschirm zu sehen bekommen? Keiner hat je die Zahl derer ermittelt, die (gerade in der hei?en Jahreszeit) in den Buros schwitzen - nur weil ein hilfreiches Tool anzeigt: »Bitte alle Fenster schlie?en, bevor Sie mit der Installation beginnen«. Wer denkt jemals an all diejenigen, die uber Kabel stolpern und sich schwer verletzen, auf dem Weg zum Fenster? Doch dies wird sich ab sofort total andern. Millionen konnen aufatmen und die Burofenster wieder offnen, denn jetzt gibt es erstmals »Fenster fur Windows!« (auf gut deutsch: »Windows for Windows!«). Dieses wundervolle Programm schafft das, was »Winzigweich Fenster« immer nur versprach, endlich sehen Sie richtige Fenster auf Ihrem Bildschirm! DTgrafic, Entwickler dieses sensationellen Programms lie? Hunderte von Gebauden errichten, um sie dann langsam verfallen zu lassen und fotografierte die Fenster. Aus diesen einmaligen und teilweise erschutterten Fotos wurde in muhevoller Kleinarbeit ein Monatskalender zusammengestellt. Durch eine ebenso simple wie geniale Programmierung ist es sogar gelungen, den aktuellen Tag in einem ubersichtlichen Kalendarium anzuzeigen. »Fenster fur Windows!« lauft auf allen Fenster-Rechnern ab Windows 95. Nach der Installation (die auch bei geoffneten Fenstern erfolgen kann), wird die Kalender-Software so eingerichtet, dass sie automatisch startet, jedes Mal wenn Windows hochfahrt. Das Programm selbst verschwindet unauffallig im Systemtray und kann per Mausklick aktiviert werden, um zum Beispiel die Schrift-Einstellungen des Kalendariums zu andern.
