Sense Personal Edition is the more basic of two Sense Editor variants providing the base level functionality on which the more advanced Sense Professional is built. Sense is a tree structured document editor with two closely synchronized panes supporting block-oriented layout management and straightforward text editing.

With extensive information cross-referencing and internet hyperlinking support, Sense provides the ideal platform for both outlining and more detailed documentation.

Material may be rapidly navigated, moved between levels and re-arranged into expandable / collapsible Headed Sections (chapters) and Multilevel Lists using both menu and shortcut options.

Section and Paragraph numbering is dynamically updated within document-wide schemes that are easily changed from selectable and part customizable formatting options.

A hierarchical style and layout management scheme is centred on the concept of separately manageable document parts, such as Headed Sections (chapters) and paragraphs, allowing the rapid writing of well structured documents.
