FirstSpot is a Windows-based WLAN Access Server designed to track and secure your Wi-Fi hotspots or visitor-based network in a centralized way. Based on captive portal technology, FirstSpot allows users to log in only utilizing a Web browser. Features include: Web-based login, exception free Web site support; idle timeout mechanism; instant keyword support; time-limited pre-paid account support; usage tracking; optional backend integration with ODBC; work with Ethernet based network as well as WLAN; Multi-Tenant-Unit environment support; credit card support; web-based configuration manager for administration; user-defined greeting message, etc. FirstSpot is a pure software product. FirstSpot is NOT any subscription service to operator-owned WLAN or Wi-Fi networks.
