This little program has a lot of serious BUGS! I'll tell you just about two of them. In first, my OS (W2k Pro SP4) has a BSOD Stop Screen with error description in RamDiskXP.vxd EVERY time I restart my PC. In second, the program changes the drive letter assigned to RAM Drive by itself every time I make changes with my disk configuration (add/remove HD's etc.). This is why I need to reconfigure ALL applications that using this drive. Besides, the vendor of this program hasn't updated it for at least 5 months.rnMy mark is POOR. For that money ($69) I can find another solution that wouldn't hang my PC ~10 times a day. It may be even new ATA133 HD with 100+ Gb capacity ;-) |

This little program is absolutely awesome! I've just finished installing the trial version and created a 512MB RAMDisk on Windows 2000 Professional. The performance increase is outstanding. Ppl who don't know how to read a help file and then come here and write a poor review of this product because they can't create a drive larger than 100MB make me laugh. maybe you shold learn how to install software and follow instructions. it takes about 5 seconds to enable a drive larger than 100MB. I have loaded a 400MB I/O intensive database program on to the RAMDisk and it now takes a fraction of the time to run queries and scans compared to a hard drive. A definite 10/10. |

With this program you CAN make RAM bigger than 100MB, but you need to read the help file to findout how to do it. I've used it and it works well. |

Was looking for something like this, but read Joe Ackumpuck's comment about 100MB upper limit, and was put off. However, from the manufacturers website, theres a manual, and in the manual it states, in the memory config section: "Allocate AWE Memory: This option will allow you to create a RAMDisk larger than about 100MB. AWE memory will allow you to use up to a maximum of 128 MB less than your total available system memory."rnrnDuh. Don't let one impatient person put you off. It took me about 2 mins to peruse the manual and find this setting. Will now evaluate this product... |

Based on the performance of its antecendent, RAMDisk98, over the past four years, this is an extremely reliable and very useful utility. It has never failed, is easy to configure (if you are willing to spend a bit of effort to understand it, as with all devices), is useful, and saves a lot of wear and tear on a physical hard drive while running a disk-intensive program that constantly reads and writes to the disk. |

I have 2 gig's of ram. I wanted to use this program to load battlefield into so my load time would increase. However I am only allowed to use 100MB of ram for ramdrive. This is usless. I cant turn it up therefore it is not worth .15Cents to me. I will look elsewhere or create my own program. |

I find it hard to believe that no one hasrnreviewed this software after 2,680 downloads. It's obvious that this program isn't cheap. I'd like to know what buyers think about this program. |
