The software has been designed as general product for surveillance cross platforms running all together with wireless and wired Internet webcams, Television-cards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the similar look and controls on the local and apart workstations. Customers watch MPEG-4 coded picture and have complete control of the program via network that surveillance computer can be operated without screen, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure significantly increases reliability because all parts act as independent applications. If one module stops working, other parts continue working. For instance if the `record` module stops working, `watchdog` starts over it right away that users don`t notice anything because they are watching picture through a `playback` part. The program performs `repeated` recording that the `disk full` situation never occurs. The recording can be constant or it can be triggered by motion, human face detection, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance station as well as on apart pc through Web interface. The program performs synchronized video playback for event examination from multiple webcams at the same time. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
