The program has been created as universal application for security cross platforms functioning simultaneously with wireless and wired IP cameras, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB webcams. It has web interface with the similar appearance and functionality on the local and distant workstations. Users watch MPEG coded picture and have full control of the software through network that security server can be run with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse connected. Program`s modular configuration significantly boosts reliability because all modules act as autonomous programs. If one component freezes, other modules continue running. For instance if the `record` unit freezes, `watchdog` starts again it immediately that users don`t notice anything because they are watching video through a `playback` component. The software does `cyclic` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never happens. The recording can be non-stop or it can be activated by movement, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty simple and performs on the surveillance computer as well as on apart pc through Web interface. The program makes synchronized video playback for event examination from many cameras concurrently. Also recorded data can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded information can be encrypted and password protected.
