OLE DB includes a familiar interface for users to select a data source. This interface cannot be invoked directly using ADO.NET or other parts of the .NET framework without using complex interop.

Teroid Data Source Selector 1.0 is a Visual Studio .NET control providing a simple way to open this interface - so simple that the control has just one member, the GetConnectionString method which returns a connection string based on the user's selection, ready to be used to open a connection. This version is freeware and as with all Teroid Software products requires the Microsoft .NET CLR.
