Akeni LAN messenger IM for LAN is a cross-platform(Linux and Windows) business instant messenger for LAN.

The LAN Edition does not require connection to the internet. Also with its intuitive user interface, those familiar with public IM clients such as MSN Messenger or AOL AIM, will be find using LAN Messnger to be seamless. Basic features include real-time private chat sessions, group conferences, presence management, file transfers and emergency alerts/notifications.

Currently available for: Linux, Windows 95, 98, Me, NT, 2000 and XP.

Requirements: pentium 133 or better
