eWorld is a framework to import mapping data from providers, such as OpenStreetMap.org. eWorld is also cross-platform being capable of running on any platform that comes with Java support.

eWorld will allow you to edit it, visualize it, and enrich it with events or annotational attributes and pass it to traffic simulators, such as SUMO or VanetMobiSim.

FEATURES:

· OpenStreetmap.org download dialog, which allows users to retrieve map data directly from OSM
· new types of road and environment events that are fully editable
· new traffic light system management options, which can be generated automatically, too
· fully functional exports to SUMO and VanetMobisim
· maps and events connected to roads and environments can be stored and restored in a database
· a plugin concept which allows others to extend eWorld's capabilities just by putting a jar-file along the application
