The Athena Interactive Video Conference provides seamless two-way and multi-party video conferencing over internet, intranet and broadband networks. Athena Interactive Video Conferencing offers excellent quality video conferencing without the need for an expensive Multi-Party Conference Bridge (MCU) for high bandwidth networks. Athena Interactive Video Conferencing complies with the latest International Telecommunications Union (ITU) standards and applies high-quality compression techniques using our own wavelet compression algorithm, enabling even lower bandwidth utilization. Even at speeds of 128 Kbps, you can expect excellent quality.
Additional product features include: software implementation only(no hardware cards needed); good video quality at rates as low as 40 Kbps and exceptional video at rates up to 350 Kbps; multiple window sizes: CIF and QCIF, as well as a medium (256x192) window size and the 640x480 for document viewing; only provider of wavelet and H.323 - compliant conferencing; gatekeeper functionality - find others easily via active email address listing; license server administration for system administrators; easy to use.
