Digital Document Shredder - Server Edition erases sensitive data from computer hard drives so that it may not be accessed via software or hardware recovery. The product supports all leading standards and algorithms for secure data shredding in the market today including the US Department of Defense standards for secure file erasure (DoD 5220.22).
The product offers task-based scheduling using Windows standard components. Digitally signed reports and full integration to windows event log guarantees the administrator full control and flexible monitoring of the shredding tasks.
Possible tasks include: shredding of free space (this ensures that data historically deleted data is non-recoverable), shredding of selected files and folders in the network, secure shredding of recycle bins and temporary files.
When choosing files and folders to shred in a task, the selection can be based upon age, date, location, and other criteria.

Digital Document Shredder- Server Edition provides extensive, comprehensive log file reports of each shredding operation. The reports are digitally signed to hinder any tampering with the logs.
