This product was developed because we needed a way to automate the creation of basic Insert, Update, Delete and Select stored procedures.

We initially downloaded a couple of free utilities that provide this functionality - but they lacked any customization abilities. In addition, we also tried out some of the commercial tools - which come with a ton of features and worked just fine - but were more on the expensive side (from our perspective) . So, we decided to build our own and include some customization functionality - but not as much as the high-end products in the marketplace. The result - a product with more features than the free utilities - but not as many features as some of the high-end products available.

SQL Stored Proc maker works by reading the metadata inside MSSQL Server databases and programatically creating a SQL Script containing stored procedure code based on (1) the Metadata and (2) the options selected in the program.
