Touvaly for Mac OS 1.2.7

A drop application utility for making pseudo copies of files, folders, CDs, and volumes. A pseudo copy of a file is a file with all the same attributes as the original file (creation date, modification date, type, creator, name, etc.) but with empty contents.

You can use Touvaly create virtual catalogues of collections of files which use very little space or to re-create a directory structure. You can create these collections on other drives to have them accessible from other machines.

Sample Options:
- Make pseudo files which are 'openable' in the sense that Touvaly can open the original for you in the appropriate application.
- Copy Finder (Spotlight) comments or icons.
- Append original file size to the comment.
- Copy the resource fork.
- The Preferences window has been significantly improved for clarity and ease of use. Instead of using one single panel to contain all the various options for the program, they have been collected into named groups using a tab control. This helps you find and understand their function more easily. The new tab groups are: Pseudo Files, File & Folder Filters, Folder Names, Destination and Running. None of the preference options or their effect has changed. 'Tool tips' are provided on each item so that its description of usage is easily accessed.
