Star Syslog Sender Free Edition is a free syslog tool. It can simulate networking device such as router, firewall and servers to send syslog message to syslog server. You can use this free tool to evaluate the performance of your syslog server. Star Syslog Sender is based on internet standard protocol, which is specified by RFC 3164. Requirement : [Operating System] Star Syslog Sender supports the below OS : 1. Microsoft Windows XP 2. Microsoft Windows 2000 Server and Professional with SP4 3. Microsoft Windows 2003 Server 4. Microsoft Windows Vista 5. Microsoft Windows NT[Hardware Requirement] Below hardware is required in order to install and run the Star Syslog Sender : 1. PIII processor (or equivalent) and later 2. 256MB RAM or above 3. 10MB Harddisk available space or above 4. 10/100/1000 or wireless LAN card
