It is intended to provide all necessary informations about stars, observatories, times, telescopes, observing runs, night logs... to make your observations the most efficient, and concentrate on the most important: the few photons you get from the sky.
iObserve provides running Local Time, UTC, JD/MJD, LMST, 75 builtin observatories around the world, beautiful airmass curves, ability to draw multiple curves and order them following airmass minimum, ability to enter and use your own 'observatory', that can be your backyard or a professionnal place, SIMBAD-name resolution, quick access to Vizir cataloges, NASA ADS pages etc.
iObserve is being built by a professional astronomer who know well what it means to change a target list because of the wind, or because of a supernova, or because it is becoming amazingly photometric!
- Night Logs and Observing Runs! You can now create a fully-customizable Targets Queue, and press Live! You will then see your Night Log being filled in front of your eyes as the night goes on. You can even follow the countdown of your observations, and modify your log easily at anytime.
