For those of us who could never get enough Photo Booth, or who bought a Mac before the camera came built-in, Q@mera is a free instant camera that creates lossless PNG images with alpha channel transparency.

Easily build and bookmark custom designs by dragging PhotoBooth or DotMatrix snapshots into the background or stencil mask. Add a paid license and use all 150+ plus effects in your video chats on Yahoo Messenger, Skype and Webcam chats (Stickam, Livestream etc.) 100% Snow Leopard, Leopard and Tiger compatible. Add a second USB webcam to your Mac and share Q@mera effects with iChat Theatre. Under Leopard, use Photo Booth to record movies of Q@mera output. Many more features.
