UMS allows students not only to solve problems simply by entering the arbitrary problem they are interested in taken from any text-book or created on the spur of the moment, but to obtain a COMPLETE SOLUTION of that problem together with a complete presentation of the WHOLE CALCULATION PROCESS, accompanied by an appropriate audio commentary.

Most of the existing commercially available systems (MATHEMATICA 1-4, MathCAD, MathLAB, MAPLE) either just give a final answer to the problem or allow the user to enter the problem according to a prescribed list and to obtain an appropriate "standard" solution from a database. In our program there are no such limitations.

Requirements: Pentium 166, Windows 95/98/Me/2000/NT4, 32Mb RAM, 10Mb HDD, Sound card.
