iMethy is a handy, easy to use genome-wide DNA methylation analysis and visualization application based on next generation sequencing.

Firstly, it holds the command-line pipeline to align the bisulfite-treated short read, identify the methylcytosine at CG/CHG/CHH sites, detect the methylation level and annotate the methylcytosine.

Secondly, more importantly and with distinct characteristics, iMethy can serve as a visualization tool to display large-scale bisulfite read alignments, methylcytosine, and annotation information.

iMethy is an integrated stand-alone software featured with a user-friendly interface and multiple options for customizable settings, such as navigation styles, zoom mode and color schemes. In conclusion, iMethy will be widely used for researchers who want to unravel the complexities of DNA methylation in the epigenetic community.
