Planar String is a small program written in Java that allows to explore the evolution of an elastic string moving in the plane. Mathematically, it provides some insight into the dynamics of the wave equation.

The motion of the string is prescribed by configuring its positions at time 0 and at time 1. In fact, at time 0 you are given control only over every second point of the string, the others being filled in as midpoints between the ones you prescribe. At time 1 you control the other half. for WindowsAll
