Life Balance Version 3.2.2 for Palm OS is the latest update of Life Balance being released concurrent with updates of the Windows and Macintosh desktops (sold separately). The following features have been added in this update: <ul> <li>Added support for the virtual grafitti area and rotation on the newest Palm devices. This includes Tungsten T3, Tapwave Zodiac, Sony Clie landscape devices, and other devices based on Palm OS 5.3. Added support for the AlphaSmart Dana. <li>Reduced application size by 15KB. <li>Added high-resolution versions of more controls. <li>Revised PDF documentation. <li>Changed default lead time from 1 day to 8 hours. This is more consistent with the default period for routine items of 1 day. <li>Added code to ensure adequate memory is available during launch and HotSync on new Palm handhelds (Tungsten T3 and Tungsten E) that have the new Calendar and Tasks applications. <li>Recognizes the new Calendar application as the default Date Book application on newer PalmOne devices. <li>Expanded the list of DateBook replacement applications recognized. <li>Tasks completed by To Do List import process are now exported to DayNotez. </ul> The following bugs have been fixed in this update: <ul> <li>Added low-memory checks to startup code so that the program can exit more gracefully. <li>Fixed a crash when beaming tasks between two unlicensed copies of Life Balance. <li>Removed incorrect warnings about corrupted datebook records on newer Tungsten devices. <li>Fixed a bug with displaying the last line of a multi-line task at the top of the Outline. </ul> <p> Life Balance v 3.2.2 is a free bug fix release recommended for all Life Balance for Palm OS users who have 3.x licenses. <p> If you are upgrading from a prior Life Balance <strong>2.x</strong> version, please read the full release notes before upgrading. This is not a free upgrade, discounts for registered customers are available. The data format is changing. Please make careful backups of your old data before upgrading.
