The program has been created as common software for surveillance hybrid platforms running concurrently with wireless and wired IP webcams, Television-boards, capture cards, power-line, and USB cameras. It has web interface with the equal form and controls on the local and distant pcs. Customers view MPEG coded video and have complete management of the program through net that surveillance server can be operated with no monitor, keyboard, and mouse attached. Program`s modular structure extensively boosts reliability because all modules act as autonomous programs. If one module freezes, other components keep on working. For example if the `record` unit fails, `watchdog` starts again it instantly that viewers don`t notice anything because they are watching picture via a `playback` component. The program makes `repeated` recording that the `hard drive full` situation never appears. The recording can be non-stop or it can be turned on by activity, human face recognition, or by calendar. The program has pre-alarm and post-alarm recording. Playing back recorded video is pretty easy and performs on the surveillance station as well as on remote workstation using Web interface. The software performs synchronized video playback for event analysis from multiple cameras simultaneously. Also recorded information can be searched by date, time or by face detected. All recorded data can be encrypted and password protected.
