By leveraging the powerful built-in command-line tools in OS X, Compactor brings those capabilities into a simple and comfortable user-interface.Compactor provides support for the following formats: .zip .tar.gz .tar.bz2 .dmg .dmg-bz2 (.dmg with bz2 compression, only OS X 10.4 can read this)Warning, the command line tools that handle .zip, .tar.gz, and .tar.bz2 (that Compactor uses) aren't alias friendly and will remove them from any archives you create.
