Hover Text is an Carbon HIView-based minimalist button-type control with a mouse rollover effect. Hover Text highlights a string of text with a light gray round-ended box when moused over. This box then darkens when clicked on. On mouseout the control returns to its normal text-only state. Also available is a pop-up variant of the control. Similar controls can be found in Safari and iChat (Cocoa apps).
