Cymbeline is an application server framework, including functionality such as DB and arbitrary object pooling, web servers, persistant object repository, and a text console. Cymbeline library was originally designed as an administrative shell for an embedded system, but has since morphed into a more general purpose, run anywhere toolkit. Cymbeline is written in Python.
