 The generous ratings reflect the fact that this program solved at least one long-standing problem I had not been able to solve any other way, and it uses very little in system resources. In fact, it apparently disappears from memory after starting up the desired programs. Also, it is not necessary to start up all programs using Startup Delayer, but only those you are having problems with. I don't know of anything comparable, at least not in freeware.
